"Adding 'transformative coaching' to my skillset has been incredible for me. Not only are my clients happier, I've never been happier myself with the tools I've learnt from Chris" - Claire, Counsellor
More Impact
As a therapist or counsellor you know that there are two ways of impacting clients:
The first one is slow, and occasionally works, but far from always. This method relies on offering tools, techniques and strategies for a client to manage their symptoms and struggles, but does nothing to effect the root cause of their problems.
The second is a profound shift in the way they see things. A deep transformation when they have an insight that will change their life forever. This is where real and lasting change occurs at the core level.
How do we do more of this deep change? Those moments where you get goose pimples because you know a client has released something deep and profound and they will remember it forever?
Less Burnout
As a therapist of 20 years I've suffered from burnout and compassion fatigue more than a couple of times! One of the leading causes of burnout in therapists is not seeing the impact in your clients that you know is possible. That was certainly true for me.
As many as 67% of counsellors and therapists report suffering from burnout. Things like compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma are less of a concern when you feel like you are getting the results in your client work, and you feel supported by good supervision and mentoring.
Learn The Art Of Transformation
Transformation is deep and lasting change. What is it? And how do we create more of it?
-
Understanding transformation helps you bring about more change quicker.
-
Protects you from burnout and compassion fatigue. No more vicarious trauma.
-
More impact, less burnout.
- Previous participants of this training have reported that their own levels of wellbeing and happiness have improved following what they've learnt.
In This Workshop
You will learn:
- What is transformation and how and when does it occur?
- What are the conditions for transformation and how do we facilitate more of it?
- How to make lasting changes that impacts the most.
- Deepen the change you already make. Deepen your current skill set and become consciously competent at what makes real and lasting improvements in wellbeing.
- The key insights people report from transformative work compared to traditional psychotherapy.
You are already doing these things that make a difference, but this workshop will help you hone the skills of transforming lives, by understanding exactly what is it that brings real and lasting transformation.
About Chris Finn
When I was a working as a senior CBT therapist I remember having several conversations around how poorly qualified life coaches were. Then I came across something called transformative coaching and my perspective changed...
I started learning this thing called transformation and I started getting results quicker with my clients - much quicker.
Some of these clients jumped in their levels of wellbeing and functioning so significantly, I was genuinely shocked.
I started training with some of the worlds leaders in the art of transformation. And now I teach how to integrate this work into my psychotherapy practice.
I'm a fully trained Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, accredited Mindfulness teacher, trained in CFT, ACT, and have also got certificates in mindset coaching, performance coaching and transformative coaching. I left my successful career in the NHS and as a Senior Lecturer in CBT to pursue a blended method of therapy and coaching which impacts people quickly and deeply leaving lasting changes in their wellbeing and how they show up in life.
Now I provide training, mentoring and supervision for therapists, that like me, want to create more impact.
